Call for programs for the academic year 2026–2027
Concert Centre Finland is looking for live music performances for school and kindergarten tours. Please note that this Call for Programs is targeted for groups located in Finland. At the moment, we do not have an international program call that covers expenses from abroad. You can apply through our regular program call, in which case we cover expenses only within Finland.
We organize approximately 1000 concerts and music workshops annually across Finland in collaboration with local organizers. The tour days consist of three concerts and many times the concerts take place in different schools. Performers are paid concert and workshop fees, including travel expenses.
Application period for the academic year 2026–2027 is now closed. Warm thanks for all the applications!

Application period: The application period for the academic year 2026–2027 is open from September 1 to October 31, 2025, until 4:00 PM. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
For whom: Musicians and bands residing in Finland. We welcome applications from musicians with diverse backgrounds and from all music genres.
Briefly: We mainly organize three concerts per day in schools and kindergartens across Finland. Most concerts are held in elementary schools and there is the highest demand for small ensembles. Selected program can be part of our repertoire maximum for 1–3 academic years.
Application: Applications are submitted via Mubazar. The application must include a short video compilation that showcases the program’s content and the performers’ interaction skills with the target audience (3–5 minutes). We recommend filming the video in front of the target audience but that is not mandatory.
Two-phase selection process:
First phase: The artistic board selects the programs to proceed to the next level based on applications and video samples. The selected groups will work on their program with Concert Center’s producers.
Second phase: A sample concert in front of a live audience. The final program selections are made at this phase. Expenses of the sample concert day will be reimbursed.
The selection of the program is handled by a separate artistic board. Concert Center’s artistic board includes:

2) Read the application instructions
Fill out the application carefully (link to the form below).
The application must include:
- Performers and their instruments (1–5 people, including technician)
- A summary of the concert

The honorarium depends on the number of performers. Reimbursements for travel, accommodation and per diem (51€/day) will be paid in addition. We arrange three school or kindergarten concerts daily. The principle is that all groups of the same size receive the same fee for their concert, and the fees are divided equally among the group members.
The Concert Centre Finland reserves the right to decide on the payment of fees, either by invoice or tax card. In addition to fees, daily allowances, accommodations, and travel expenses are paid (inside Finland). Please note that we do not cover the fees of other intermediaries, such as booking agencies.
Fees may be updated for the academic year 2025–2026, which this application concerns.
Fee/performer (€) for the school year 2024–2025 (including holiday compensation 9 %):

| 5 | 119,90 € | 359,70 € |

Materials to review before applying
We recommend reviewing our fees and the Performers page before submitting your application. We require all our performers to commit to the principles of a safer space.

A video (3–5 minutes) is an important part of the program evaluation. It should provide an overview of the program’s content and the performers’ interaction skills with the target audience. The technical quality of the video will not be assessed. Upload the video to YouTube or Vimeo as an unlisted link to ensure it is supported by the Mubazar system preview
